- Create purchase orders, generate, and execute contractual agreements ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain training on the workflow process and coordinate with all supported departments.
- Update vendor audit files and the contracts database regularly.
- Proactively notify business owners of impending contract expirations.
- Ensure prior approvals from Finance, Accounting, Executive Management, and supporting departments.
- Support and advocate for strategic and tactical process improvement activities and initiatives within the Center of Excellence (CoE).
Qualifications Qualifications Qualifications Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
- Recent graduate or juniors/seniors currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Interest in procurement - purchasing.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment is a plus
Preferred skills include:
- Strong communication (oral and written), relationship management, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-motivated with advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including Executive Management.
- Strong PC literacy, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional projects and team collaboration.
- Exposure to commercial contract terms and conditions in a corporate setting.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet immediate business area needs and timelines.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
