What is Delek? What do we do?

We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels, and convenience store retailing.

* Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

* Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

* Our Retail or convenience store part of Delek, runs over 300 stores in Texas and New Mexico. We are licensed to use the 7-Eleven brand, which you might recognize! We also have company-branded New-to-Industry DK stores in the southern part of the US!

* Our three renewables plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

JOB SUMMARY

Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use. May engage in purchasing activities for business services or technology. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

* Master's Degree (Preferred)

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)

* No Licensure or Certification Required.

* Performs spend analysis based on a variety of relevant information, prepare financial models, identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings, and present business case and recommendations to Director of Purchasing

* Propose best sourcing strategy (RFP, renegotiation, outsource) and lead in executing the strategy

* Negotiate and manage commercial contracts, contract compliance, with suppliers and internal stakeholders

* Interact with business partners to develop, engage and lead supplier relationships, security of supply, risk management and innovation
