This position will support MRO cost saving initiatives within the purchasing organization. This position is the subject matter expert on all logistic processes. Additionally, the position will generate and track performance metrics on cost savings.Freight Coordination and Negotiation:* Coordinate freight quotes for various shipment types (LTL, FTL, LCL, FCL) both inbound and outbound ocean and AIR.* Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive pricing and excellent service.Inco-Terms Negotiation:* Negotiate Inco-Terms for shipments, ensuring favorable terms for JHS.Shipment Claims and Documentation:* Manage JHS controlled shipment freight claims, providing necessary paperwork, photos, and backup information.* Verify logistics AAP invoices against original quotes and document the process.Customs and VAT Support:* Provide customs clearing support for shipments as needed.* Verify HTS (harmonized tariff) codes for optimal customs and VAT (value added tax) selection.Supplier Management:* Negotiate pricing with MRO (maintenance, repair, operating) suppliers and explore cost-saving alternatives while maintaining quality.* Maintain online supplier portals and manage orders.* On-board new suppliers according to established processes.Reporting and Administrative Duties:* Prepare a weekly inbound traffic report involving all carriers.* Ensure timely processing of purchase orders for MRO items.* Handle other clerical tasks and staff support.Qualifications:* Associates Degree required* CPIM or equivalent* Minimum 5 years' experience* Pharma and SAP experience preferred* Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint & MRP* Negotiation Skills* Logistics and Traffic skills* Analytical Skills* Must be a self-starter with flexibility to perform a variety of duties from mundane to complex.* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skillsCompensation:* This position pays $67,725to $80,740per year, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.Benefits:* Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Life, AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability* 401(k) with company match* Generous paid time off plan* Employee Assistance ProgramOptional Benefits:* Voluntary Life and AD&D for employee & family* Supplemental Medical coverage (Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident coverages)* Pet Insurance* ID Theft Protection* Perk Spot Discount ProgramJubilant HollisterStier is an EEO/AA Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.If you require assistance applying for a position, please contact our HR Department at:...@jhs.jubl.com
