We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will play a key part in managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Job Description:As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will own the process to expedite components to ensure timely arrival for production. This includes verification of order timelines, coordination of dock appointment schedules between vendors and manufacturing, coordination of logistics ensuring that componentsarrive on time for productions.

Key Responsibilities:Reviews open purchase order report for Company owned components, and communicates high priority items to vendors, to maintain compliance with On Time Delivery (OTD).Follows up with vendors, logistics department and manufacturing facilities to ensure components' arrivals on time.Acts as intermediary between assigned Vendors and Production Facility to schedule dock appointments.Provides load information to the logistics contact in order to prepare its pick up. (Pounds, pallets, pickup date and location, etc.)Acts as main contact for Production Facility and Distro Center for information related to shipment and, if necessary, follow up with corresponding team member.Maintains close communication with Logistics supervisor, Production Facility and Distro Center to enhance the dock appointment process following up when missed dock appointment.Reviews M&H routing guides, and compares against plan chart needs, prior to contacting logistics team.Communicates dates of inbound components to Production Facility as needed.Provides support to contract packaging planners managing component shipments/dock appointments for IBB and others as needed. Participates in meetings with planners and customers as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with procurement software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Schedule: 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday$24-25 Hourly Depending on Experience100% Onsite
