This role involves sourcing and managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring procurement aligns with budgets and projections. Additionally, it includes overseeing inventory projections, managing the procurement team, and maintaining an organized work space to achieve timely orderfulfillment.*Client Details*My client is a leader in the design services space. They are founder led, and rapidly expanding.*Description** Source new vendors, including backups for existing ones.* Collaborate with the Design Team to find vendors for new pieces and materials.* Build strong vendor relationships through pre-qualification, contract negotiations, and tender management.* Negotiate vendor pricing and terms based on studies and margins.* Create purchasing budgets for approval by Studio Partners, Operations Director, and Finance team.* Work with the Director of Operations to create inventory projections based on past sales and market research.* Ensure Procurement Associates manage vendors to meet production timelines and objectives.* Oversee purchasing to align with budgets and projections, and address issues in the QC process.* Communicate pricing updates and issues to the Director of Operations and Finance Manager.* Manage Shipping/Receiving Coordinator and procurement team to ensure organized workspace and on-time order fulfillment.*Profile** Exceptional organizational abilities* 5 years of procurement experience in a similar setting* Proficiency with inventory management software/systems* Proven leadership and team management skills* High attention to detail* Capability to handle and prioritize various tasks in a dynamic, creative environment* Skilled in using hand and power tools* Quick learner in a fast-paced setting *Job Offer** Fully covered medical, dental, vision benefits * 401k match * Excellent PTO * Massive growth potential MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
