Title: Procurement Manager
Salary: $110,000-$118,000
Location: Boyertown, PA
Company Profile: A leading Plastics Packaging company is looking for a Procurement Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing and developing procurement strategies for the materials required. They'll be focusing on improving performance relating to quality, total cost, negotiations, and material availability.
The Indirect Procurement Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Evaluating current and potential suppliers for quality, specifications, and delivery capabilities.
- Responsible for negotiations, strategic supplier contracts and quote proposals.
- Supporting supplier partnerships, through developing alternative suppliers, materials, and category innovation.
- Monitor pricing for suppliers and materials, striving for the lowest possible total cost.
- Reviewing industry trends, supply & demand, and effectively implementing market information into procurement strategies.
The Indirect Procurement Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business with Supply Chain emphasis preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience operating in a procurement role with several category or commodity areas. Corrugated or packaging category experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of supplier pricing schemes and negotiation methods/procedures.
- Knowledgeable about the Pharma industry and ERP software.
