Title : Procurement Manager
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 + 15% bonus
Location: Buffalo, NY – Relocation assistance is provided.
Company Profile: One of the world's largest food and beverage leaders is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team. This Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the milk procurement strategies and operations for their Upstate NY facilities.
The Procurement Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Grow and develop existing relationships with Direct and Cooperative Suppliers for companies' plants.
- Manage the milk procurement budgeting and payment processes.
- Ensure successful deliveries and assess risks associated with inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
- Execute annual cost savings, cash improvements, and the use of appropriate KPI's.
- Monitoring the component variance, analyzing trends, and adjusting the plan when necessary.
The Procurement Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must come from a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience operating in a procurement role.
- Must have experience managing budgets, and expert in MS Excel.
- Has sourcing and purchasing experience with dairy products or food ingredients.
