POSITION SUMMARY: The Procurement Manager handles indirect and direct procurement responsibilities, focusing on supplier development, sustainability, and strategic cost reduction. The role requires close interaction with internal teams to align procurement strategies with short- and long-term business goals. Domestic travel may be required. Also responsible for the whole department daily management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
Negotiations & Sourcing:
Conduct negotiations based on technical specifications, cost objectives, and market conditions.
Manage supply inquiries, RFQs, and price negotiations to ensure alignment with procurement processes.
Prepare and execute sourcing decisions for materials and services.
Cost saving, work with the suppliers together to achieve the annual saving targets.
Reporting & Strategy Execution:
Provide MRO reporting, including spending, savings, scheduling, and spend analysis.
Develop and execute supply strategies for specific business categories.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with industry quality standards and company specifications.
Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
Operational Execution:
Prepare POs in line with company policies and ensure proper documentation.
Participate in new product development teams to align procurement needs.
Oversee facilities management-related procurement.
Organization and people development
Daily work management, KPI follow up and reaction planning.
Employee review and performance management, people growth and development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (required).
3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in consumer product manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in indirect procurement, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
Technical understanding of MRO sourcing categories and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with large ERP systems, ideally SAP.
Demonstrated ability in project management and strategic sourcing.
