Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in wood furniture manufacturing and related standards (FSC) is strongly desired.

Education: Bachelor's/Master‘s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Greene Resources is seeking a Procurement Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials essential for production, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee procurement of spare parts, auxiliary materials, and services (e.g., cleaning, express post) to support continuous operations.
  • Handle the acquisition of logistics services, including forklifts, transportation, and related equipment.
  • Establish and maintain effective supply management systems to align inventory levels with production needs and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and client standards (e.g., FSC) as well as industry regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Manage customs processes for imported and exported goods, ensuring adherence to formalities and regulations.
  • Address non-conformity issues with materials, managing claims for defective or substandard goods (with extra team support provided).
  • Collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Leverage experience in logistics and warehousing to integrate procurement and supply chain functions smoothly.

Position Requirements:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with business goals.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to engage in day-to-day operations and problem-solving.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP); understanding of logistics and warehousing operations is desirable.
  • Communication: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at resolving conflicts, addressing supplier issues, and managing non-conformities effectively.
