We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contractor to join our team for a 3-5 month full-time project. This role offers a 40-hour work week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET) with flexible hours to accommodate calls with a global audience. As part of this project, you will play a crucial role in revising and implementing our global spending policy while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Spend Policy Revision: Lead the re-write of our global spending policy, ranging from minor updates to a complete document overhaul.
- Document Consistency: Connect independent documents to ensure uniformity and clarity in messaging across all materials.
- Process Mapping & Presentations: Develop process maps and deliver concise presentations to clearly communicate policy changes to senior stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key decision-makers and other business partners to present policy updates and incorporate feedback.
- Feedback Management: Actively track and integrate feedback for continuous policy improvements.
- Policy Support: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, addressing questions about the new policy and its implementation.
- Global Alignment: Ensure consistency and alignment with global teams regarding the updated policy.
- Cost-Saving Analysis: Analyze spend data to identify untapped opportunities for productivity and cost savings in new areas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement or a related field, including policy writing experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills to produce clear, accurate, and concise policies.
- Analytical skills to research legal requirements and identify potential risks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt content for a diverse audience.
- Experience in process mapping and creating visual workflows.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative experience working with global teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
