We are seeking a Procurement Analyst for a financially-based organization in Manhattan, NY.
Description:
Purchase Order Management:
+ Create and manage purchase orders (POs) efficiently and accurately for Company.
+ Verify and reconcile POs with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
Purchase Requisition Processing:
+ Review and process purchase requisitions (PRs) from various departments within Company.
+ Ensure PRs are compliant with Company's policies and budget constraints.
Data Synchronization:
+ Implement data synchronization processes to maintain accurate procurement records and inventory levels at Company.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies promptly.
Vendor Relations:
+ Communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules in alignment with Company's procurement needs.
+ Evaluate vendor performance for Company and recommend improvements.
Filing and Document Management:
+ Maintain organized and up-to-date records of procurement documents, contracts, and agreements for Company.
+ Ensure documents are easily retrievable for audit and reference purposes at Company.
