You will organize all procurement activities within a project, ensuring optimal resource deployment. Your role will involve implementing procurement strategies to optimize project results, including the timely and budget-friendly availability of quality goods and services. You will source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers, which may require travel to their facilities. Ensuring compliance with mandatory procurement processes and regulations will be a key part of your responsibilities.How You'll Make an Impact* Lead Procurement Activities: Manage all procurement activities in a project, ensuring optimal resource deployment and adherence to procurement strategies.* Supplier Engagement: Source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers, including traveling to their facilities to review quality and processes.* Strategic Implementation: Implement procurement strategies to optimize project results, ensuring the availability of quality goods and services within budget and on time.* Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and potential changes throughout the project lifecycle.* Contract Negotiation: Lead complex contractual and price negotiations, ensuring major procurement risks and changes are covered in valid contracts.* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project management, commercial teams, and global commodity management to ensure procurement strategies align with project goals.What You Bring* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with direct experience required.* Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience within the energy industry, including 4-6 years in supply chain management.* Leadership Skills: Proven track record as a transformative leader, collaborator, and change agent capable of achieving results through and with others.* Adaptability: Resilient and flexible in a dynamic work environment with proven leadership through change and conflict.* Communication Skills: Strong cross-functional and cross-departmental communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.* Preferred Experience: Experience with Digitalization, Controls, or Carbonization Business Fields is preferred.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
