Here's what you'd do:
- Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, or supplies necessary for the operation of an organization.
- Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers.
- Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
- Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors affecting prices and the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet necessary schedules.
- Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
- Will prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
- Purchase Order Placement within the client's TLS P2P MRP System.
- Will manage expedited material as necessary.
- PO closeout activity as necessary.

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in SCA or as a Procurement Representative.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with SCM LMAP processes.
- Minimum of 6 months experience with SAP/P2P.
