**Job Description Summary**
The Senior Director of Procurement Solutions & Contingent Workforce Delivery will lead our efforts to develop and ensure delivery against an end-to-end solutions roadmap for indirect goods and services while also overseeing global delivery of contingent workforce (contractor) resources. In this role, the leader will collaborate with strategic sourcing teams and procurement operations teams while working cross-functionally to develop and integrate solutions roadmaps while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation. This position will report into the Vice President of Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) and be based out of an Applied Materials office location (Austin, Texas preferred).
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop an end-to-end procurement solutions roadmap for indirect goods and services with focus on maturing process development and controls strategies.
+ Ensure delivery against procurement solutions and maturity roadmap through cross-functional collaboration with procurement leaders, internal partners, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
+ Act as an expert/SME for contingent workforce program delivery and compliance.
+ Lead delivery team responsible for execution of the contingent workforce program. Set expectations and outcomes; inspire, manage, and develop individuals/ teams to higher levels of performance. Create/ foster collaborative and productive working environment and culture of excellence.
+ Stay abreast of global procurement solutions and workforce trends (technology inflections, regulations, policies, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) arrangements etc.) enhancing cost-effectiveness, optimizing value for goods, services, and talent.
**Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Education:**
+ Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience designing, scaling, and leading ongoing procurement solutions, including contingent workforce programs and experience at the global level with strong technical domain knowledge of sourcing, contracting, process integration, HR, Staffing, VMS, MSP, & global employment marketplace.
+ Strong understanding of contingent workforce industry, regulatory, compliance and international policies and employment laws for various types of contingent workers, including 1099/IC compliance, and contingent worker classification including working knowledge of variances of global best practices and employment law requirements.
+ Preferred experience in, or working in close partnership with, a Global HR/Talent Acquisition function; with emphasis in contingent workforce for IT and global manufacturing/engineering workforce.
+ Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or higher; MBA preferred.
+ Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated by achieving desired results through others directs, peers and broader stakeholders.
+ Strong executive level influence and communication skills that adapt to audience and or need (written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.)

**U.S. Salary Range:**
$188,000.00 - $258,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
