As a Warehouse Specialist you will play a leading role in our company's positive culture by helping us create an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. A Warehouse Specialist has to know the overall work process of inbound warehouse management work and how to use related systems. There will be business trips to Samsung SDI HQ in Korea or(and) Hungary Plant for training, need for continuous collaboration with Korean/Hungary Plant personnel. The Warehouse Specialist will identify problems in group work and make an effort to improve/resolve them. When an emergency issue occurs, you will immediately report it to the manager and work together with the relevant person in charge to resolve the issue. You will report to the Procurement Manager on a regular basis (weekly/monthly) on group work such as stocktaking.Roles & Responsibilities:Manage warehouse functions; receiving, distribution, and maintenance operations ensuring efficient space utilizationAdhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements while maintaining health, safety, and security standardsMake reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedTrain and manage the team members coming from outsourced staffing supplierMonitor the inventory status for external and internal warehouse and reconcile with data storage system (IWMS, SAP)Communicate with relevant departments to prevent material shortagePerform other position related duties as assignedBasic:Minimum Age: 18 years oldAssociate Degree or equivalent relevant experienceMust be eligible to work in the United StatesThe ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as requiredDocumentation skill utilizing MS office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Minimum 3 years auto industry experiencePreferred:Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration (not essential)Bilingual English / KoreanExtensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applicationsExcellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentationCritical thinking and an analytical mindsetDemonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goalStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databaseStrong problem-solving skillsWorking Conditions:Ability to sit, walk and stand for extendedperiods of timeAbility to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of timeAbility to operate basic office equipmentAbility to lift up to 20 poundsAbility to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicalsAbility to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
