Procurement Technician (0041)OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.OCT currently has an opening for an acquisition professional with at least four (4) years of experience. Federal or DoD acquisition office is preferred.Specific Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative tasks in support of multiple acquisition offices.
- Assisting the government in researching and drafting specifications and standards, developing performance measures, and coordinating requirements documents.
- Assist in the research and analysis of past purchases of similar products or services, current market value of products or services, and other purchases of similar products and services.
- Perform basic post-award administration actions, including modifications, option exercises, price, quantity, or delivery changes, and cancellations.
- Assists with the review of incoming procurement packages to determine completeness. Qualifications:
- At least four (4) years of experience within a procurement organization.
- Well versed in MS Office.
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance; the security screening process may involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check.
