Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams to guide the strategic technology and functional dependencies for product roadmap development. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, end-users, and IT software development teams, ensuring alignment and clarity in business requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Strategy:
- Work with the Product Owner to identify and guide strategic technology and functional dependencies for product roadmap development.
- Connect the dots between business strategy and product features to drive effective solutions.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Create business cases, gather requirements, and conduct feature gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as the functional expert for business processes, writing use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Business Process Design:
- Drive the design of business processes by documenting as-is and to-be process flows, considering policy, system, and stakeholder impacts.
- Become a subject matter expert in how users perform their jobs with the supported technology.
- Agile Practices:
- Actively contribute during scrum rituals, including Daily Stand-Ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and Program Increment Planning.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
- Software Procurement Knowledge:
- Possess a good understanding of the software procurement process and related practices.
Familiarity with:
- Scrum and Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Enterprise Application Development and Delivery Architecture processes and tools, such as LeanIX.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story development.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and document outcomes.
