Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob Purpose:One of the most critical functions of our business is the development and syndication of product content to develop and optimize our ecommerce product pages. This role owns and manages this process, using the Salsify Product Information Management tool, and orchestrates a team of content and data creators and activators.Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Overall accountability for data integrity across systems and storage locations
  • Own end-to-end Salsify accuracy, completeness, utilization, maintenance and automation; Serve as the owner and point person regarding product content/data, workflows and channels in Salsify
  • Ensure the timely completion of Salsify workflows, communication of issues, and syndication of products to retailers' portals and our ERP
  • Manage content syndication in onboarding new syndication channels, updating existing channels, overall ecommerce content delivery, and auditing of all delivered content and assets
  • Set up, map and ensure proper formatting of content data in Salsify, including reporting
  • Set up and maintain workflows (including new dynamic workflows)
  • Build and deploy digital catalogs and materials necessary for viewing product assortment and attribution
  • Provide systems expertise in setting up inbound/outbound data feeds, gap analysis documents, syndication channel audits, and Retailer .com API integrations
  • Lead a team of external resources in audit and delivery of content
  • Develop product and category expertise to drive continual improvement
  • Develop key proofing and quality assurance measures
  • Understand and act on retailer specific requirements and change requests
  • Understand, manage and maintain paperwork and assets related to product compliance
  • Conduct content audits and gap analysis, determining ways to improve content quality and efficiency
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Creative teams on the development of processes and solutions to optimize the syndication of product content through Salsify
  • Regularly look for improvement opportunities and communicate those to the appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with teams on the development of business processes and solutions to meet sales needs and ecommerce best practices, including A+/enhanced content
  • Utilize Salsify reporting and other methods to report on content creation, delivery and performance
  • Manage files, Teams spaces, passwords, vendors, systems, budgets and other internal support
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience with and knowledge of the Salsify Product Information Management tool (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ecommerce sales channels, portals and processes
  • Experience managing a company ecommerce website preferred
  • Experience in ecommerce sales of consumer products preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and execute product and channel strategies
  • Understanding of demand generation techniques to drive sales, including content, reviews, promotions, advertising, email and Social media
  • Familiarity with key performance indicators of content, sales and demand generation success
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Understanding of how to track, measure and report activity, and turn those measurements into insights that can be used to improve practices
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate with various other people to efficiently accomplish tasks
  • Desire to continually learn, as well as create and improve processes and results
  • People management skills and team leadership, with particular emphasis on the development of employees
  • Clear focus on the consumer (end user) experience and satisfaction
