What you'll do...

Walmart+ functions as a startup within the larger Walmart Organization. As one of the fastest growing functions within the Walmart organization - we value individuals who are customer obsessed, data-driven, and have a bias towards action. Your OKRs will be directly tied to the value you provide to our most loyal customers, and we welcome candidates who are up for the challenge. As part of the W+ Customer Product team, your charter will be to build ideal experiences for members who leverage our services across their many needs.

Duties:

• Develop, implement, and optimize processes for payment success rate.
• Design and maintain a comprehensive disputes framework within the payment network ecosystem.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize payment logic algorithms to improve transaction success rates and reduce failures.
• Conduct data analysis and A/B testing to identify opportunities for enhancing payment routing and decision-making processes.
• Conduct a thorough review of existing network and product rules governing payment transactions
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, operations, legal, compliance, and business development teams to define product strategies and priorities.
• Execute sizing, forecasting, and funnel conversion analysis to prioritize product feature launches.
• Work with product and business teams to understand new product launches and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure performance.
• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL jobs to create new data tables that can capture more refined parameters that can improve analytics and data science efficiency. B
• Build dashboards and self-serve tools to enable Product Managers and Business Leaders to track the performance of member acquisition, retention, benefits, and engagement metrics. Conduct hypothesis testing and statistical power analysis to guide and execute the analytics and data science strategy for the product analytics team.
• Execute project management and documentation using Jira and Confluence.

Minimum education and experience required:

• Domain expertise in payment processing methods including card network, ACH, check, virtual cards, digital wallets, and international payments.
• Deep understanding of payment network infrastructure, including transaction processing, authorization, and settlement.
• Masters degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or related field and 3 years of experience in analytics related field.
• OR bachelors degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in an analytics related field.

Skills required:

• Experience analyzing clickstream web data using Hive SQL, Big query, and Google Cloud.
• Experience analyzing customer transactional data using SQL.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Experience using Excel, Python or R
