This job includes managing engineering data to create models, drawings and Bills of Materials using Siemens NX, Globus Teamcenter, Turbo-SEL, JIRA and SAP. The selected candidate will coordinate closely with several engineering teams to complete a compressor design ready for detail drawings and then manufacturing!How You'll Make an Impact* Understand the requirements of the as sold compressor design and creating the representative 3D model.* Identify and address deviations/issues with the compressor as sold design and consult with the appropriate teams.* Effectively interpreting various applicable compressor design standards.* Applying knowledge of these standards for Layout Design of Compressor components.* Preparing Models to create Detail Drawings using Siemens NX integrated with Globus Teamcenter* Managing Project BOMs and Jira Cards to ready models for Detailing / Manufacturing.What You Bring* Must have a High School Diploma or GED that can be certified; an Associate degree in a Technical Drafting other comparable design engineering degrees is preferred.* 10 years of relevant Compressor design experience is required; Candidates with more experience may be eligible for a more senior level role.* Proficient with Siemens NX and Globus Teamcenter; Jira and SAP is a plus.* Experience with detailed manufacturing processes, machining and welding standards is preferred.* Excellent teammate.* Knowledge on turbo machineries and their components is an added advantage.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00.Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
