What We Are Looking For: We are currently seeking a Product Development Assistant for our GMA Accessories division. The overall aim of this role is to assist the product manager in developing new products and designs to meet our product line and customer needs. The ideal candidate will be serious about having a career, not just a job. This role is within Various Sports Goods categories, experience, knowledge and interest in that sports and fitness industry is a requirement. Responsibilities: Product development Communication with Overseas DVP Sample Requests Sourcing Requests (Market Research) Art requests Receiving, Tracking and Reviewing samples Sample Reviewing and Approving Samples and addressing Artwork and technical issues Showroom maintenance – Across 10th floor (CS & Fitness) and 9th Floor (Kids) PLM Monitor and Processing Style #s Tech Packs Ecommerce Sheets Processing Photo Requests for Internal Systems as well as Retailers and Licensors General Sports Interest/Knowledge/Experience to utilize in Various Sporting Goods Categories Support the creation and improvements of products Researching Existing Sport Product and how existing products can be improved Testing and Evaluation of Prototypes Evaluating and presenting Product innovations Support Product Development Manager in Launching new products lines Create and manage reports/documents in Excel Manage Sales/Customer, Design team and Overseas Communications.
