Product Manager/ Director
We re hiring our first Product Manager/ Director, who will report into the CEO and take broad ownership of a fast-growing product suite that is changing the moving industry.
Who We Are
Founded in Summer 2021, Chariot is a vertical SaaS company building the operating system for moving companies and the overall moving experience.
Moving is a universal, stressful, and expensive experience. ~35M Americans (~10% of the country) move every year, in addition to the many moving services needed by businesses, government organizations, and military members. As a result, there s a massive economy built around moving, with a fragmented ~$30B industry of moving companies at the center.
Running a successful moving company is complex and hard work, especially without the right tools. Yet in an age where modern software has revolutionized how we work, most moving companies are stuck managing their business with a disconnected mix of calendar tools, spreadsheets, paperwork, and out-dated moving CRMs. The result for movers is higher stress, lower profits, and limited industry innovation.
Chariot is finally giving moving companies modern software that simplifies their workload in a single solution. Our founding team has spent years working at Google, Flatiron Health, Cedar, Bain & Company, Bridgewater, ASAPP, and Teachable building modern technology for startups and fortune 500 companies. We re backed by venture capital investors and co-founders of billion dollar companies, and are advised by moving company operators from across the country. Our initial software is live with happy paying customers it s time to scale!
NOTE: This role is not remote. You will work at our office at 30th and Broadway at least 3 days/ week.

We prioritize the needs of moving companies and their employees when making decisions.
Teach everyone, learn from anyone
We believe that great ideas can come from anyone. We seek out diverse perspectives, embrace bold solutions, and work to disconfirm our beliefs and biases. We proactively identify opportunities to teach and learn from others, regardless of role or background.
Be kindly candid
We are humble and assume the positive intent of other team members. By establishing this foundation of mutual respect, we are empowered to say what we think and provide thoughtful, timely feedback, even when it s uncomfortable.
Take inventory and move to action
We brainstorm inclusively and respectfully but are biased towards action. We are data-driven but are comfortable using common sense in the face of ambiguity. When we face setbacks, we maintain an optimistic attitude and learn from our mistakes.
Bring your whole self to work
We cultivate a workplace where employees of all backgrounds can express themselves authentically, be vulnerable, and have fun! We are successful when great business results are delivered by a team of people leading rewarding work and fulfilling personal lives.
