Hourly Wage: $20.62DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARYTo coordinate multiple facets of engineering projects to bring product improvements to production within the established time frames.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES• Work in conjunction with Quality, Production, and Engineering on identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects• Facilitate meetings for product development and design reviews• Facilitate productivity of multiple teams with Research & Development(R&D) such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Designs, Drafting, Test Lab and Machine Shop• Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Distribution• Oversee and participate in mechanical building and assembly of prototype products such as beta samples, show samples, and test samples when needed• Facilitate product transition from design to product release into production• Effectively maintain communication with all teams involved in assigned groups of projects• Construct and maintain project timelines and Design History Files (DHF's)• Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements so as to make compliance recommendations• Attend trade shows as needed• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management • Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations• Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessaryREQUIRED SKILLS• Must be skilled in time management, and be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honestMust have the ability to:• Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment• Work as part of a multi-disciplined cross-functional team• Travel domestically for Trade Shows as needed• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and instructions as required• Use hand tools and standard power tools• Prepare and present summary reportsMust have:• Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement• Proven successful time management and organizational skills to plan, design and implement each stage of a project within specific time constraints• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel• Basic knowledge of hand tools and standard power tools• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED SKILLS• Basic working knowledge of Oracle and/or Agile preferred• Lift/push/pull 40 lbs. preferredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE• At least 1 year of proven experience successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks in a fast-paced office or manufacturing environment OR, in lieu of experience, an Associate Degree or higher in a field related to Engineering, Business or HealthcarePREFERRED EXPERIENCE• At least 2 years of project management experience successfully leading, managing, or coordinating projects or tasks from initiation through delivery inclusive of meeting the project requirements in terms of scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources in a fast-paced Research & Development or manufacturing environment preferred• At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred• Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferredREQUIRED EDUCATION• High School Diploma or GED PREFERRED EDUCATION• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Business/Healthcare related field preferred• Project Management Professional certification preferredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the futureDETAILS• This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive• This is a safety sensitive position• In exceptional circumstances, some of the physical requirements of this position may be modified or eliminated as a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities ActPride Mobility Products®/Quantum Rehab® is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
