Hofmann USA has a need for a Product Development Engineer inCartersville, Ga****Job Responsibilities:****• work with customers on product requests, evaluating feasibility & economicattractiveness of developing a new SKU****• develop pilot scale quantities of fiber, translating the process tocommercial sales process****• evaluate new materials and technologies for suitability in productdevelopment****• maintain project documentation, including process history, fiberproperties, quality systems documents, physical samples, and risk management****• provide detailed test instructions and technical support when making newproducts****• managing customer required documentation to support industry specificprocesses (PPAP,MDS)****• seeking someone with an engineering background, or background in polymers& fibers, or textiles****Essential Job Functions:****• Must be able to move up to 50lbs.****• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the shift****• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions****Work Environment:****• Must be able to wear protective gear such as steel toed boots****• Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures.
