Job Description in Brief

This position reports to and supports the primary Product Line Manager/Director/Vice President, with primary accountability for managing components from aircraft dismantles and consignment inventories as well as purchasing high demand components. This person is also responsible for sales campaigns of the product line to global airlines and reciprocal opportunities with airlines for their surplus. The Product Line Representative assists with IPC research to explore additional revenue opportunities as well as the demand management team with building the database and coordination with the Regional One global sales team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Run daily receiving report and check product line and any item that shows Demand Management
  • Check and make any necessary corrections to Tiers according to parts movement and changes
  • Run previous day's sales report
  • Check stock to ensure the next unit is sent out to shop and min/max quantities are maintained
  • Complete end of quarter projects
  • Check IPC's to add interchangeable information into the system
  • Purchase additional PL material as needed
  • Process the daily receiving report
  • Verify all inventory and any items that show on Demand Management
  • Constant evaluation and purchasing of high demand components
  • Assist sales with all related inquires, market knowledge, and pricing
  • Run part numbers through ILS and add up to date vendor quotes and market notes
  • Run MIN MAX score card – SV or better to check what items are below the Min and above the MAX
  • End of month purchase orders
  • Assist with QCHOLD items
  • Assist Programs department as needed
  • Visit tear down facilities to facilitate the delivery of removed parts for sale
  • Assist the Sales Team, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • General financial competency
  • Understanding of the aviation industry preferred
