Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Management Leader for Services to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and optimization of our Services under the Service First banner. The successful candidate will be responsible for Service Offer Development, Pricing, SMEs/Sales, Playbooks, Renewals, and Competition.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Offer Development:

  • Lead the development of new service offerings to meet market demands and company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, service gaps, and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, service operations and customer services management and to design and implement innovative service solutions.
  • Define service specifications, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Manage the service development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Pricing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Conduct pricing analysis, including cost analysis, value-based pricing, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market feedback, performance metrics, and financial goals.
  • Work with finance and sales teams to develop pricing models and discount structures.

SMEs/Sales Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and sales teams to drive service adoption and revenue growth.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on service offerings, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop sales tools, presentations, and materials to enhance service sales efforts.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations to support sales initiatives and gather feedback.

Playbooks:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive playbooks to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Standardize processes, best practices, and service delivery methodologies across service teams.
  • Continuously update playbooks based on feedback, performance data, and evolving service needs.
  • Ensure playbooks are easily accessible and utilized by relevant teams.

Renewals Management:

  • Oversee the service renewals process to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Develop strategies to increase renewal rates, reduce churn, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customer success and account management teams to address renewal challenges and opportunities.
  • Analyze renewal data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, threats, and industry trends.
  • Develop strategies to differentiate our services from competitors and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities, including service offerings, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on competitive landscape and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in a services-oriented role.
  • Strong understanding of service development, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on execution and results.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, market research tools, and project management software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
