Your Impact at KENTAs a Product Manager for our floatation and watersports categories you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our products, from conception to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and sales to deliver products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do
- Responsible for growth and developmental expansion of our flotation and watersport categories.
- Establish the development of a variety of product to ensure a planned increase in sales and gross margin.
- Responsible to ensure quality and integrity in all aspects of the process and product life.
- Utilize our in-house system in relation to tracking sales and gross profit to make analytical decisions as to the direction for growth potential.
- Coordinate the development, implementation, communication, launch, training, and follow up actions involved in the new product development process.
- Developing relevant product trend research, competitive analysis, competitive metrics, or assigned product to drive informed and intelligent short and long term business decisions within the assigned product lines/brands. This may include but not limited to online research, publications, etc.
- Ensuring internal product confirmation process of the assigned product lines/brands is communicated clearly and accurately both internally and externally of the organization.
- Supporting other members of the product management team outside the primary product line/brands as needed and assigned.
- Be passionate steward, protector, defender and driver of both the product and brands and the corporate brand.
What You've Accomplished
- 2-4 year degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 3 year minimum related experience in developing and sourcing product
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Fluent with Word, Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Flexible travel schedule required
