*No Recruiters Please!*Contribute to the Product Management team and business, specifically for Motorization, to provide desirable product and service solutions which are feasible to engineer, commercially viable, and provide value to Rollease Acmeda's customers and the users. We are proudly owned by JM Family Enterprises, one of the largest privately owned companies in the US. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Product Strategy, Road Map & Development
  • Manage, execute, and support the strategy and product roadmap for select motorized categories as required by the business
  • Manage and support product development and successful product launches; including compiling market research, VOC, project justification, outlining product requirements, establishing pricing (target purchase and sell), testing and validation, ensure required certifications are in place, drive technical documentation & marketing requirements, product sampling & training
  • Support, and as required, drive the Automate Pulse2 App development, including requirements, UX/UI enhancements, and customization for white labels
  • Contribute to marketing planning (EDMs, social media plans, campaign plans, websites, etc.)
Product Lifecycle
  • Manage and execute product rationalization / life-cycle management. Provide recommendations and execute with the demand planning, sales, and marketing teams
  • Contribute to demand planning & forecasting
  • Consolidate and maintain product masterdata and catalogues
Product Expert
  • Be the product expert, a primary reference point for tech support, training, quality, sales, marketing. You will seek the support and guidance of other Product Managers and the business to enable your product knowledge and development
  • Act as a technical liaison to sales to support new customer product placements, including presenting product, technology, and competitive analysis when called upon to gain market share
  • Collaborate with Technical Support Team to share knowledge, document frequently asked questions, and provide feedback to engineering resources if consistent issues arise
  • Monitor and report on App Reviews (App Store, Google Play, and IoT Integration)
  • Collaborate with team members in other categories and other regions (primarily US, EU) as required
Market & Competitors
  • Obtain customer, sales, market and competitor insights
    • Build relationships with the sales team, meet customers, undertake voice of customer
    • Engage with industry publications and tradeshows
    • Consider the evolving threats of competitors and cognizant of the adjustments in the market
    • Gather, analyze, and summarize competitor products and data. Determine gaps & opportunities
    • Understand the pricing and sales strategy and provide pricing proposals
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
  • 2-5 years minimum product management experience
  • 5-10 years demonstrated experience in related product / industry (electrical, software, smart home, mechanical)
  • A hands-on approach with strong electronic / mechanical aptitude
  • Driven, collaborative, and resilient; thrives in a fluid working environment
  • Strong analytical thinking, challenges the status quo and provides alternatives
  • Effective and concise communication and presentation of both business and technical concepts.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

  • The following experience is favorable:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing
    • Graduate from a Product Management course
    • Intermediate knowledge of BI software (Power BI)
    • Solid understanding of CRM/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central) and Project Management systems (specifically using Wrike or similar)
    • Experience with regulatory compliance and certifications
