Location: Clayton, NC, US, 27520Company: Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell PCX seeks a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and management of our low-voltage switchgear products and modular prefabricated electrical/mechanical systems designed specifically for the data center and energy markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and product management and a deep understanding of the data center industry's needs and challenges. The position is based in Knightdale, North Carolina.PCX Corporation is the leading designer and integrator of engineered and prefabricated, modular electrical/mechanical systems for the modular data center, commercial, and industrial markets. Our product offerings include but are not limited to modular data centers, power equipment centers, custom integrated switchboards, and pre-manufactured indoor/outdoor electrical distribution centers.The Product Manager will develop the product roadmap cohesively with the business development director, develop strategic product line forecasts, implement, prioritize product lines, develop new products, assist with plans for maintenance, training, and marketing/sales, as well as manage profitability and gross margins. The role will be responsible for building and managing the staff, resources, and processes required to prioritize and implement the vision and strategy of the business.Responsibilities:Product Strategy Development: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for low-voltage switchgear products. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to ensure our products meet and exceed industry standards.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research (VOC) to identify opportunities for new features and products. Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor strategies to maintain competitive advantage.Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and lifecycle management. Act as the key interface between technical teams and business units. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, manufacturing, and field services to ensure smooth rollout and support of new products.Customer Engagement: Engage directly with key customers to gather insights and feedback. Use this information to refine product features and prioritize development efforts.Financial Acumen: Develop and manage the product budget. Forecast revenue, pricing, and profitability of product lines, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Develop specific, measurable objectives for all product lines to meet and exceed goals.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations and standards.Product Launch and Support (NPX): Oversee the launch of new products and manage the end-to-end process from ideation to market introduction. Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on customer feedback and technological advancements.Team Management: Mentor and lead a team of product managers and related staff, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Competitive Analysis: Develop and maintain analysis of pertinent competitors and products, adjusting product line strategy accordingly.What will help you thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, specifically in electrical products or systems for the data center market.Experience with new product development processes and approvals.Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage switchgear and its applications in data centers.Experience in the integration of electrical and mechanical systems for custom applications.Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.Experience in ISO9001:2015 helpful.Working knowledge of NEC NFPA 70, and UL891 desired.Strong interpersonal skills for developing and functioning in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.Strong leadership skills and experience in stakeholder management.Ability to travel up to 25% as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
