ABOUT THE ROLE Peloton is seeking a Product Manager to drive innovation for Peloton Connected Fitness experiences . This person will serve as the voice of the user through the product development lifecycle and develop, design, and launch products and features that drive growth in sales and engagement across our connected fitness products. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our members. Advocate for solutions based on their needs and pain points.
- Support in the development of new features and the optimization of existing features owned by the Connected Fitness and API development teams.
- Work with strategy and insights teams to build knowledge of our prospective member base and identify areas with highest potential for growth/new customer acquisition
- Work with research, design & engineering to conduct rapid prototyping and experimentation of interactive mechanics across our products
- Generate detailed requirements documentation and socialize them with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Translate product requirements and reported bugs into tickets in Jira.
- Work closely with engineers as they complete tickets and participate in UAT to review.
- Participate in agile rituals including sprint planning and daily standups.
- Work with product analysts on event design and implementation and review relevant dashboards.
- Develop relationships with the Legal, Content and Marketing teams.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Strong operator with experience leading small cross functional teams.
- Experience working with an agile engineering team.
- Experience working directly with visual/UI designers, UX researchers and product analysts.
- Curious, creative, collaborative, with an experimental mindset and preference for testing and learning
- Ability to make tough decisions informed by both data and judgment
- Exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to work closely with experts in a different field, understand their needs, and translate them into software
- Applied experience in agile and lean development methodologies, preferably as a product owner
- Highly collaborative and willing to give and accept constructive feedback
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills with constant attention to detail
