You will have the opportunity to help with vision, strategy and drive prioritization and will lead an agile team to build on this vision.What will you do?You will have the opportunity to work in a hands-on, collaborative environment with top designers, engineers, data scientists & analysts to build breakthrough experiences and data products that solve our users' most critical needs. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in achieving our strategy to build a customer master that will transform how we collect, store and consume our commercial client data that drive our business forward.Establish vision, strategy & success metrics for the customer data master and be accountable for the full product lifecycleEngage with associates across all Commercial business including users, business stakeholders & product partners to identify data needs, uses & its movement across CML.Create & maintain product roadmaps, in conjunction with the Senior Product Manager, and coordinate with teams for execution (Tech, Data Analysts, Designers, Business Stakeholders, Change Management)Develop detailed product specifications, scenarios, acceptance criteria and success measures - like product instrumentation, data storage, accessibility, usability via tools, data grain and frequency.Manage & Prioritize Feature and story backlog within the pod to track development.Support end-user go-live/launch activities as needed (end-user training, marketing collateral, etc.)Here's what you'll need to be successful:Understanding of how data products solve for analytical and operational use casesSignificant experience applying analytical rigor to support technology decisionsA bias to action and a proven track record of shipping successful products which exceed user expectationsKnowledge and passion for emerging technologies and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great products.Grounding in human-centered design with a natural empathy for usersStrategic thinking and ability to effectively identify opportunities for growth in new businesses and marketsA high level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguityStructured communication & storytelling skills who can explain complex data problems to all audiencesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of product management experience or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineeringPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or EngineeringMBA or Master's degree3+ years of experience in Agile SAFe methodologies3+ years translating business strategy and data analysis into digital productsBasic programming and algorithm development experienceFamiliarity with open-source toolsExperience in designing and creating the architecture of Client Relationship Management or Master Data Management solutionsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
