Job Description:
A large retail & commercial bank is seeking a highly skilled, dedicated and detail-oriented Product Manager with a strong background in Instant Payments, who is passionate about making a positive impact in the financial industry. In this role, the Product Manager will assist in the development of a strategic product roadmap for instant payments that supports the needs of our clients and manage the implementation and launch of RTP and FedNow to support US market clients. The role is preferred to be remote anywhere in the US. As a background, the bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities. The Instant Payments Product Manager (IPPM) is responsible for developing and delivering new payment types or processes in line with industry developments, competitor developments, and the needs of Santander clients. The primary products that the IPPM will oversee are domestic US instant payment capabilities that include The Clearing House Real Time Payments system (RTP) and the Federal Reserves FedNow system. Additionally, the IPPM will cover cross-border instant payments solutions, such as IXB, as/when these gather industry momentum. The IPPM develops and executes payment strategies in conjunction with the Head of Transaction Banking Product Management, payments partners in the CBB/Digital, Commercial and CIB Lines of Business, as well as functional partners including IT, Operations, Marketing, Risk, Compliance and strategic third-party providers (such as PagoNxt).Compensation: $85/hr to $95/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
