Our Client Fund Services (FS) provides fund administration services to the leading hedge funds and private equity funds of the world. The division employs 1,300 professionals globally, with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dublin, and Glasgow.
The Product Development group focuses on building technical solutions to resolve complex problems in Portfolio Accounting, Investor Allocations, Trade Processing, Risk Mitigation, Regulations, and other important processes in the organization. We consult closely with our external and internal clients, build new applications, and continuously improve the existing proprietary applications.
Responsibilities:
The Team currently seeks a Consultant with understanding of computer science disciplines, with wide experience operating in the technical environment of financial institutions, and with skills in business analysis and technical project management, to assist us in the support and projects in the Private Equity Fund Administration business.
The business and technical environments are complex and there are many processes that require deep analysis in order for origin of issues to be identified, and resolutions discovered, and then communicated to the technology team to be implemented.
Besides issue resolution, we expect the consultant to contribute to the various initiatives for the systems.
He/she must be able to thoroughly understand the business needs and translate them into technical enhancements, and communicate well to the technology team for implementation.
Experience:
Work experience in the financial industry is required. Experience with Private Equity and the Allvue System is preferred.
Skills:
The candidate must have a technical degree for his/her undergraduate education, in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
