What We Need: We are looking for a Product Manager to join HNI Workplace Furnishings supporting our Architectural Products team. The Product Manager is responsible for contributing to the success of Architectural Products by driving results through cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality products to market that meet our customers' needs. This role is responsible for owning the product lifecycle, from inputs on ideation and development to launch and optimization of respective categories. What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams; including product engineering, manufacturing, product data, and sales enablement; to drive new product development from conception through successful launch, ensuring product meets customer requirements and is delivered on time & within budget.
  • Drive Voice of Customer, market research & analyze trend data to identify and drive product innovation, product strategy, and address portfolio opportunities.
  • Own the lifecycle of a specified product category in accordance with the 3-year product roadmap.
  • Execute milestones and deliverables for each stage of the new product development process.
  • Define and prioritize new product features based on market research & competitive positioning.
  • Plan and execute successful product launches by collaborating with sales enablement, design, and sales teams to provide necessary product details to support their creation of go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor & analyze product sales, profit performance & customer feedback to identify opportunities for product category improvement including cost savings & quality improvement. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement cost & quality opportunities.
  • Implement end-of-life product strategies including discontinuation and phase-out processes.
  • Provide sales, trade & internal teams with necessary information, training, and product knowledge to support profitable growth.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant product management or development experience is required; 4 years of experience and/or experience with architectural walls preferred.
