We are thrilled to continue making learning fun and accessible with the strategic guidance and support of KIRKBI.About the RoleWe're seeking a Product Manager, Integrated Systems to join our platform product team. As the Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping how BrainPOP connects complex systems while maintaining a simple end user experience.This role is hybrid with weekly time spent in our New York City office (1-2 days standard, more as needed).In this role, you will
  • Lead a squad to develop integrated systems that:
    • Empower BrainPOP teams to aid in increasing efficiency of their roles
    • Simplify the identification of high impact next steps that can be taken to optimize connections and flow of data between systems
    • Manage other systems, such as Stripe payment processing and Salesforce provision integrations
  • Communicate product vision and progress against business objectives to stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Build and maintain a detailed roadmap using data to inform product decisions
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative features
  • Prove your hypotheses by designing quick, low risk tests with clear success metrics
  • Be a subject matter expert for internal systems and understanding the roles of various stakeholders
  • Synthesize market, qualitative, and quantitative research into product insights and use them to author requirements
  • Define and monitor KPIs to better understand user behavioral patterns
  • Deftly manage multiple streams of work to continuously deliver value

On Your Resume
  • 2+ years of digital product management experience with a proven track-record of shipping and iterating on successful products
  • Experience working on integrating systems, such as Content Management Systems, CRMs, payment processing platforms, and Identity Management providers
  • Demonstrated success working with teams to build systems and interfaces that have resulted in increased user efficiency
  • Effective communication skills to fluidly translate user needs and insights across technical, operational, design, and leadership audiences.
  • Experience partnering with product designers, analysts and engineers
  • Prove your hypotheses by designing quick, low risk tests with clear success metrics
  • Experience identifying and prioritizing the most important problems to solve for the user
  • Technical knowledge. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to be technically conversant to understand tradeoff, risks and perspectives of your team
  • Proficiency in using data tracking and business intelligence platforms
  • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Bonus if you have:
    • An MBA
    • Education or EdTech industry experience
    • Experience working with remote teams
LocationThe BrainPOP team operates in a hybrid work environment: Each role has remote flexibility and an in-person component at our New York headquarters or other meeting locations. For this role, we are seeking a candidate who lives within commuting distance of the NYC office and resides in one of the following approved hiring states:

  • New Jersey
  • New York

We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. Based on these factors, we expect most of the candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description, as posted.
