**_**This is a hybrid role based out our Malvern, PA Headquarters**_**

This role will identify and lead market opportunities within the suspension system and perimeter trim product portfolio with emphasis on creative & innovative solutions as well as new go to market programs.

The Product Manager serves as a product authority for internal and external customers and will demonstrate skillful product portfolio management including new & existing product development. This will be accomplished by having an integrated approach and working cross functionally with Marketing Communications, Sales, R&D, Operations and Quality, Finance, Supply Chain to transform our business by driving customer purchase behavior that contributes to the achievement of CertainTeed's product leadership ambition and driving revenue.

In this role, you will conduct frequent architectural & customer visits to evaluate market needs and opportunities; participate in customer and other 'Voice of the Customer' activities.

Utilize VOC, market, trade, and architectural insights to recommend overall strategies to the Marketing team for all collateral elements of the marketing mix - advertising, trade promotion, packaging, and literature.

Build vendor partnerships to enhance our product portfolio.

Work with our sales teams to define and action mutually functional and beneficial programs and systems for our customer groups.

Analyze, assess, assimilate market and competitive data to derive insight and develop/refine product and go-to market strategies.

Partake in our sustainability efforts and initiate and track appropriate projects for this and other product portfolios.

**What do you bring?**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Architectural or Design is required

+ 3 - 5+ years experience in Architectural, Design and/or Marketing is required

Additional Requirements:

+ Successful experience managing differentiated product brands or product lines targeted to unique market segments, translating marketing objectives into functional strategies and tactics.

+ Business Acumen & Strategic Insights- Comfort with business strategy, portfolio prioritization

+ Market Orientation-Ability to deeply understand & anticipate market trends to develop competitive strategies.

+ Data Analysis & Synthesis- Ability to take large amounts of disparate data to derive insights and make decisions.

+ Excellent computer skills / applications usage such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SAP (an asset)

+ Comfortable presenting new product concepts / training content in front of an audience

+ Demonstrated capability to think beyond conventional solutions, approach problems from multiple perspectives, and come up with original concepts. Skilled in ideation, conceptualization, and creative problem-solving to address complex business challenges and identify new opportunities.

+ Proficient in identifying target audience insights and effectively communicating the value proposition to key industry stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and designers.

+ Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and create compelling content to engage diverse audiences. Proficient in influencing and persuading, fostering excitement and inspiration.

+ Excellent collaboration and partnership skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including relationship management and negotiation proficiency.

+ Excellent Project Management and time management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment with multiple stakeholders and changing circumstances. Strong adaptability to navigate complex corporate structures and systems.

+ Knowledge of the construction process, with a strong understanding of key stakeholders across various sectors such as commercial, residential, multi-family, and off-site construction.
