Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution. Summary The Product Manager will ensure long term success by creating and directing both short and long term strategic, market development, and financial management functions, including profit and loss from an overall business perspective. The role will be responsible to oversee the cross functional execution of activities from manufacturing through all market channels. Key Responsibilities + Working in conjunction with all business units, operation and logistics, develop and execute a long-term business platform that optimizes the product's development and maximizes the product's profitability from an overall business perspective. Develop and execute annual business and financial plans. + On an ongoing basis oversee coordination of campaign scheduling, product quality, raw material supply, product inventories and logistics. + Working in conjunction with all business units, develop and execute volume and pricing strategies that are aligned and consistent with overall product objectives. On an ongoing basis, manage product pricing. + Working in conjunction with sales, marketing and agronomy, coordinate all product development activities including: specific agronomic research and data set development, marketing programs, materials and brand value development. + Working in conjunction with Business Development leadership, participate in the management of the Honeywell agreements and relationship. + Explore long term market development options including specific niche markets, new geographies, derivative products and incremental production possibilities.
