BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Product Manager to our Vascular Intervention Marketing team. The Product Manager will play a key role in the development, management, and commercialization of the BIOTRONIK vascular intervention portfolio. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, market insight, and business acumen. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure successful product lifecycle management.
Your ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap
- Support development of the product roadmap for vascular intervention products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and customer needs in the vascular intervention space, including working with sales, healthcare professionals, clinicians, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Monitor competitive products and emerging technologies to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies.
- Manage supply chain service cost and performance, including forecasting, setting performance targets, providing guidance on supply chain tradeoffs, consignment strategy/policy, and other cost reduction initiatives
Go-to-Market & Launch Strategy
- Support development and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing, distribution, and promotional plans.
- Work with sales, marketing teams and training to create product training materials, marketing collateral, and sales support tools.
- Support product positioning, messaging, and differentiation through communication with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
Customer and Market Insights
- Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback through surveys, focus groups, and direct interactions with clinicians and end-users.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes to adapt the product portfolio accordingly.
- Visits accounts and industry tradeshows in order to gain market insight and represent the company.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between multiple departments (global marketing, sales, regulatory, supply chain) to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Work with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA, CE, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure clinical evidence supports product claims and regulatory submissions.
Post-Launch Support & Optimization
- Monitor the performance of launched products, track customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvements.
- Support sales teams in field inquiries, training, and troubleshooting.
- Provide ongoing product support and coordinate product updates or revisions as necessary.
Your Profile - BA/BS and 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on medical devices, preferably in the vascular, interventional, or cardiovascular space.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Clinical expertise in medical device product line or demonstrated ability to develop quickly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive and results-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
