Product Marketing Director, Enterprise Subscriptions
Job Summary:
Dow Jones is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of compelling enterprise subscription propositions that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in creating and implementing effective value propositions that resonate with customers and differentiate our products or services from those of competitors. The successful candidate will have experience in developing go-to-market plans, working closely with external partners and managing cross-functional teams. This role reports into VP, Enterprise Subscriptions and Innovation in the Subscription Strategy group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and develop product line strategy for enterprise business at DJ; articulate and develop product propositions for key enterprise audiences aligning with our goals and customer needs.
* Create and maintain a value proposition framework that guides the development of new products and services.
* Analyze market trends, customer insights and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
* Thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments, working with news, brand and performance marketing, sales, product, and finance, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment across the organization.
* Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure marketing messaging and positioning align with customer needs and pain points.
* Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
* Measure and analyze the impact of value propositions on customer behavior and business outcomes.
* Develop and manage marketing budgets, including allocating resources to optimize ROI and achieve business objectives.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in value proposition development.
Requirements:
* 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in developing and executing effective value propositions that drive business
* External facing client experience
* Ability to distill complex products into clear narratives
