Job Type Full-time Description Nuwellis, Inc. is a medical device company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients suffering from fluid overload with its Aquadex SmartFlow ultrafiltration therapy. As the Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for defining and implementing effective go-to-market strategies for the Nuwellis and its portfolio of cardio-renal disease therapies. This role will encompass activities critical to achieve the business's growth strategy, with a focus on US downstream marketing and commercialization. The ability and proven track record to develop new markets, influence and motivate internal and external partners, build and execute end-to-end marketing programs and product launches, exercise critical thinking, decisive decision making, while having depth of knowledge and technical expertise in medical devices are keys to success in this role. This is an onsite position, requiring a full-time in-person presence at Nuwellis' corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN. Possible travel up to 25%. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and leverage a deep understanding and expertise of our products' value proposition and competitive landscape to understand customer needs.
- Develop marketing plans for business lines with analysis and insights, including strategies and specific tactics and resources to drive growth opportunities and address key risks.
- Develops, directs, and implements comprehensive product launch and marketing programs which may include establishing business plans, market research, market segmentation, competitive strategy, pricing, and commercialization tactics. Create positioning to drive adoption, build new markets, and to differentiate the product from the competition.
- Develop and implement market development strategies to enable new therapy adoption.
- Develop messaging and sales tools (literature, brochures, website, and social media), support development of training materials, and field sales and customer communications to support sales and the customer.
- Successfully develop and execute campaign plans across multiple channels- sales, digital and social media, medical conferences, PR, advertising- and track metrics and optimize performance to drive program ROI.
- Collaborate with external agencies as needed to support campaign development and execution.
- Conduct primary and secondary customer and market research to support product strategy development, commercialization strategies, and business performance measurement. Develop and present recommendations.
- Support conference planning and execution.
- Support the assessment of product line performance in sales, margins, demand, and brand perception. Identify trends and risks, understand trends driving demand; communicate to the appropriate internal stakeholders changes and key assumptions.
- Build relationships with key customers, thought leaders, trade associations, and industry players to facilitate sales and increase positive visibility and adoption of Nuwellis products.
- Project Management: Manages the marketing aspects of projects involving cross functional groups.
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience or Master's degree and 5 years of related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Masters' Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or Health Care
- Medical device industry experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
- Social media marketing experience.
