About the job Product Marketing Manager Functional Summary Manages, develops, and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned product line. Analyzes product performance, competitiveness, and trends in the marketplace and develops strategies for assigned product based on research and analysis. Works with sales teams to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies. Duties and Responsibilities •Develops comprehensive marketing plans for sales and marketing teams •Ensures project/department goals are met while adhering to approved budgets •Conduct and analyze market research to capitalize on new product and market development opportunities •Collect, consolidate, and communicate product feedback and product development needs to management •Interact with sales and marketing teams to implement strategies and tactics to drive revenue and profit growth •Track and monitor sales trend and provide product forecast •Create, execute, and measure effectiveness of Go-To-Market Plans for strategic launches •Identify customers who are willing to give testimonials, case studies and references and amplify their voice in the market •Measure and refine product marketing programs to ensure alignment with corporate goals •Develop relevant content to be used for all Go-To-Market channels and materials •Design training programs to assist sales focus on each step of the selling process •Provide marketing and solution information to regional marketing and sales teams to support internal and external marketing programs, sales operations, marketing events such as conferences, trade shows and webinars, and channel opportunities and activities •Increase visibility on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ for the corporate channels •Stay current with industry practice on marketing communications impacting communications tactics •Acts as a Product Line brand champion and ensure that use of the brand is compliant •Support organizational policies related to safety, environmental protection, housekeeping, etc. within area of responsibility Required Skills/Abilities •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, and interpersonal skills •Project management and planning skills •Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization and customer base •Management and technical experience •Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills •Creative, analytical, and driven •Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM) or similar software •Experience with electronic marketing technologies (keyword advertising, CRM, marketing automation, e-mail marketing, webinars, etc.) •Experience in contributing to professional social media platforms •Advanced Microsoft Office skills Physical Demands Employee must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employee with disabilities to perform essential job functions, absent undue hardship. •Frequently in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasional bending/kneeling •Manual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating office equipment, grasping objects •Regularly move around the office and factory floor •Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. •Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and adjust focus •Frequently communicates with other employees and customers Work Environment Employee will encounter work environment characteristics described below while performing the essential job functions and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employee with disabilities to perform the essential job functions, absent undue hardship. •Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits onto the factory floor •Office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated •Office noise levels are considered low to moderate •Factory noise levels are considered moderate •If required, PPE will be provided •May require travel up to 25% Education and/or Experience •Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience •1-3 years' experience in all aspects of marketing development and strategies •1-3 years' supervisory experience
