Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to help us transition our products to the cloud. In this role, you will develop content and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive the success of our new cloud-based products. You will be responsible for creating go-to-market strategies, conducting market research, and developing sales enablement tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing within the software industry, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, and a proven track record of driving product adoption and growth.
Key Performance Objectives
Develop and Implement Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our new, cloud-based products that will launch later in 2025. Develop a detailed plan outlining target market, customer segments, competitive positioning, and key messaging. Conduct market research, collaborate with product management, and define value propositions. Complete the strategy document within 60 days of hire.
Conduct Market Research: Perform in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Collect and analyze data from market reports, customer surveys, and competitive benchmarking. Engage with analysts, meet with internal experts, conduct surveys, and compile competitive intelligence. Identify key competitive knock-offs for use by our sales team. Complete the market research report within the first 90 days of hire.
Develop Sales Enablement Tools: Create and distribute sales tools and training materials to support the sales team. Develop sales decks, product demos, FAQs, and competitive battle cards. Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and incorporate feedback. Deliver the complete set of sales tools within 120 days of hire.
Create Compelling Content: Produce high-quality content to support marketing campaigns and product launches. Write blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and videos that highlight product features and benefits. Collaborate with the content team and subject matter experts. Produce and deliver three webinars in 2025.
