Purpose Statement
The Product Marketing Manager NGS for IDT's global marketing organization, is responsible for leading cross functional efforts between product management, R&D, marketing, and sales to address customer needs for IDT's xGen NGS product portfolio and using that knowledge and experience to help execute marketing and product launch campaigns that drive IDT awareness and revenue.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Apply and continually develop an understanding of customer needs, market trends, and opportunities within clinical research, infectious disease, and other NGS market segments, through direct customer contact and primary and secondary research, and convert customer and market insight into core marketing briefs and strategic marketing plans that drive successful lead generation and product launch campaigns, and revenue growth.
+ Lead the collaboration with IDT Product Marketing/Management, Product Development, and Project Management - as well as with Global Sales and Regional Marketing - to develop accurate marketing personas, effective customer segmentation strategies, insightful buyer journeys, and useful value propositions/messaging specific to the IDT NGS xGen portfolio.
+ Plan, craft and execute impactful marketing campaigns, collateral and content. Collaborate with and orchestrate content writers, branding and public relations, collateral design, and search engine optimization experts to ensure that campaign tactics match market segment needs.
+ Work with third parties to drive product awareness and positioning. Partner with digital marketing, marketing automation, and web development experts to ensure that marketing campaigns are executed well and in a timely fashion.
+ Own and be accountable for the success of marketing campaigns by using advanced digital tagging and metrics to ensure that key performance indicators are met, and campaigns demonstrate a positive return on investment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, life science (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant field
+ 5+ years of experience across life sciences marketing or laboratory experience in next generation sequencing
+ Demonstrated domain expertise in the application of NGS
+ Experience with defining product marketing strategy, creating marketing plans, creating marketing content and executing marketing campaigns.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
+ Ability and willingness to travel 20%, domestically or internationally
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Working directly with IDT's product portfolio
+ Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in business or life sciences
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $134,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
