Job Description:
Our large footwear client is looking for a Product Merchandising Manager for a leave coverage (3+ months with potential to extend).Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-5 years Footwear, Merch experience
  • Willing to step in and get things done, like sample management, data entry; this role is full lifecycle management.
  • Some products in Brazilian markets, so any Portuguese speakers would be a bonus.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
    • This role will support the seasonal briefing by co-authoring new creation and new material/color/graphic briefs, as well as supporting the creation of seasonal line plans.
    • Evaluate and review product with a clear thought process through price/value, consumer personas, and brand strategy.
    • Help manage the process and track our monthly product intake requests from geos.
    • Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
    • Create and update our visual line plans and ensure that all product information is accurate and accounted for.
    • Own the submission of range planning for the team's new product creation.
    • Educate the team on consumer analysis of what's trending, illustrate consumer insights, and make recommendations to the team.
    • Lead our weekly product meetings with design and development to ensure we are tracking progress for all projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inline product merch, design, development, geo partners, and marketing to bring new products to market.
    • Provide administrative support to the Product Management team as needed.WHAT YOU BRING
      • Bachelor's degree required plus 3+ years of footwear product industry experience.
      • Industry experience with footwear design/creation, development, and product life cycle management.
      • Ability to develop business relationships cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must be able to communicate effectively based on audience.
      • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and market trends.
      • Team player mentality and operational excellence to assist with the team's processes.
      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities while working on multiple projects.
      • Passion for sneakers and a deep understanding of the sneaker market, culture, and proactive in finding trends.
      • Proficient understanding of the footwear product creation process and general knowledge of the components of footwear and materials.
      • Excellent organizational & follow-through skills.
      • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Merchandising Manager II to join our team. This person will work with the Product Management team to help drive the development and launch of our sneaker products on close to market timelines. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sneakers, a keen eye for market trends, and a natural interest in fashion and consumer knowledge. This role will support and report into the Senior Product Manager on the team helping to manage our projects and calendar. Effective communication and efficiency are key to success in this role.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHAs the Product Merchandising Manager II, you will have significant responsibility in partnering cross-functionally in leading the team in product creation from ideation to in-store while mainly supporting our Senior Product Managers. You will partner cross-functionally with our design, development, and geo teams to manage product creation, gather feedback on product, and make decisions accordingly. You will also work closely with our global inline teams in a joint effort to bring a variety of products to life cohesively. In addition, there will be opportunities for key account engagement and focus on certain exclusive projects. You will be responsible for facilitating and fostering the relationships between these teams to ensure successful collaboration on all projects.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28.79 to $31.99 an hour.
