Role Overview:
The Platform Solution Manager will work across the organization to define and deliver solutions that align with the business's needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Solution Vision: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the end-to-end user/customer journey, personas, skills, needs, and a high-level solution outline.
- Solution Intent: Work with the Director of PSM and Business Architecture to establish a common language across business and technology and define capability roadmaps, migration paths, key metrics, and the target operating model as systems evolve.
This role is pivotal in increasing the efficiency of core data such as indices, securities, prices, risk, and corporate actions by defining and shaping technology solutions transparently and collaboratively with business and technology partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technology and business partners, fostering discussions, debates, and active listening.
- Experience & Creativity: Minimum of 10 years in Strategy, Business Analysis, or System Analysis. Design and lead workshops and user sessions with clear outcomes and approaches (e.g., interviews, online whiteboarding, surveys).
- User Needs & Analysis: Understand and articulate user needs, analyze data from user interactions, and apply design thinking to identify goals, business needs, workflows, user journeys, and high-level solution outlines.
- Collaboration: Work with product and development teams to define solution intent, capability roadmaps, and milestones. Facilitate architecture runways, influence technical design, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Program Management: Run Program Increments, facilitate quarterly planning, and collaborate closely with project managers and development teams on execution.
- Documentation: Lead the creation of solution inception, vision, and intent documents. Ensure continuity with product and development teams.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least ten years in Fixed Income, Securities, Strategy, Business Analysis, or System Analysis.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to lead and direct teams to achieve measurable results.
- Expertise in articulating solutions or product vision.
- Advanced experience with Scaled Agile software development processes.
- Proficiency in tools like Miro, Lucid, Excel, SQL, Visio, and more.
- Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
