- Source overseas and domestic products and manufacturers.
- Effectively managing the full lifecycle of a product from design and development, to timely delivery to the warehouse.
- Delivery channels include D2C, B2B, and corporate partnerships.
- Manage existing vendors.
- Identify new, reliable, quality vendors who deliver top-quality products.
- Negotiate product contracts with vendors.
- Create, track and manage the attendant materials including specs sheets and purchase agreements.
Inventory Management
- Implement and manage processes and procedures based on advances in technology to support inventory and fulfillment.
- Oversee the fulfillment team as relates to Inventory Management.
Product Fulfillment
- Create and deliver specifications sheets and purchase orders for each product to the vendors.
- Carefully track, monitor, and place orders timely against delivery schedules timed to ensure product is available for orders.
- Onsite oversight of the fulfillment space and the fulfillment of orders.
- Ensure that physical and digital inventory is kept up to date in real time.
- On-going and strategic optimization of shipping processes and procedures.
Supervise and Collaborate
- Manage, communicate, and collaborate closely with Oneg's Fulfillment team, Marketing team, and Design team to ensure all dependencies needed to create products are fully coordinated and completed.
- Responsible for ensuring all delivery dates are met.
Shopify and Product Tracking
- Maintain Oneg's product tracking systems (Shopify).
- Responsible for working with fulfillment support to ensure Shopify sales and customer inputs are accurate and properly categorized, including discount codes, influencer boxes, friends and family sales, etc.
Experience required
- Critical experience: Expertise and/or measurable experience in product sourcing, procurement, and vendor management (especially from China).
- Critical experience: Can bring or figure out quickly through your networks, how to bring vetted vendors and manufacturers to the table.
- Shopify Expertise.
- Is creative, but defaults to being action-oriented to solve problems quickly.
- Is a self-starter who works well under pressure in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision to meet deadlines - the bedrock of an eCommerce operation.
- Maintains high standards, with high verbal, and written communication skills, with exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Is jazzed by the idea of helping to scale a business to the next level, and to work in the all hands on deck approach of a startup.
- Can deliver to deadlines, knows how to pivot and prioritize as needed, and is by nature able to manage multiple products simultaneously.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree, business degree preferred.
- Proven e-commerce success.
- Minimum 3- 5 years experience in a product sourcing and product development role
