About the Role. The Product Specialist for the Fine Art, Jewelry, and Collectibles line will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our high-value insurance products, specifically focusing on fine art, jewelry, and collectibles. We're looking for candidates with a strong technical background in insurance product management or pricing, particularly within property or casualty lines. An understanding of data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making is essential to drive growth and profitability in this specialized segment. This role reports to the VP of Fine Art Underwriting and collaborates with various business units across the organization, as well as external partners such as brokers and vendors. What You'll Do.
  • Support the development of insurance product strategies for high-value collections through data-driven analysis of production metrics, loss data, actuarial indications, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate on product initiatives and enhancements, working closely with underwriting, pricing, marketing, and actuarial teams to drive competitiveness.
  • Assist in filing and implementing changes for existing endorsements and new products related to fine art, jewelry, and collectibles.
  • Provide detailed and timely data analysis for product development, including extracting, analyzing, and organizing large datasets to support recommendations.
  • Monitor legislative and industry changes affecting property and casualty insurance and assess potential coverage impacts.
  • Proactively identify new metrics and analytical methods to enhance product performance measurement, including the creation of customized reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor actions, industry trends, and regulatory developments to support continuous product innovation.
What We're Looking For.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, minimum 3 years of experience in product management, pricing, or underwriting within property or casualty insurance.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming language.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in an accessible way.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple ongoing projects with tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in high-value or niche product lines is an advantage but not required.
Nice to have. An interest in or experience with art, jewelry, or collectibles is a plus but not essential. The base salary for this role can range from $65k-$85k, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual's ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience. #LI-Onsite #LI-Remote
