HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for product sales and market development efforts under the direction of the Product Manager, or higher. Performs technical analysis that leads to defining the appropriate product for new customers/applications and provides this support directly to the customer base and/or manager. Performs the functional tasks that lead to the generation of new product collaterals designed to increase the sales revenue of the product line. Supports the company's trade-show participation activities, both at the preparation and participation stage. Research new product or subassembly offerings and opportunities. Contributes to the development and execution of the sales and marketing plan, as well as the development of new products and capabilities. Position is primarily tactical in nature.
Report to a Product Manager.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
+ Assists in the management of relationships with Tier 1 customers and outside sales representative organizations. Conducts product training for and travels in support of outside sales representatives.
+ Works with the Product Manager, or equivalent, to identify the need for new products or capabilities through appropriate market research and extensive utilization of customer input.
+ Works directly with internal marketing function and the product management to produce accurate technical sales literature and promotional material.
+ Maintains an advanced understanding of product lines features, benefits and capabilities in core application areas and non-core areas.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
+ Associates degree or equivalent and 5+ years' experience or Bachelor's degree and 0-2+ years' experience.
+ Technical background.
Preferred Skills:
+ Chinese and / or Japanese language skills.
