Position Summary:
To help provide daily support to our sales force to acquire more business for our centrifugal pump division, Gould Pumps. This includes technical support, costing, bid preparation, and product promotion. In addition to assisting other departments with engineering, production, and field service responsibilities, this role also includes updating the ePrism selection tool, and assisting with pump school and customer trainings regularly.
This role places a high emphasis on inside sales support for the Centrifugal Pumps, supporting a product that is distributed worldwide bringing in $50 Million+ per year.
This would include supporting preparation of business cases, bulletins, customer success stories, etc. & to promote company products.
Ensure a good understanding of proposals, cost to estimate margins, and how to discuss and articulate different business strategies to be competitive in the current market.
Essential Responsibilities:Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
Engineered product knowledge is a plus.
1 year+ related experience in the mechanical or industrial setting.
Experience in rotating equipment or engineered Products is a plus.
