Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Product StylistREPORTS TO: Manager of Product StylingPOSITION SUMMARY:Daily product styling, of all brands, on the laydown table using lighting, props, and other tools to create an image that highlights the product's features and benefits.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute prep and laydown styling imagery of assigned items while following brand standards and seasonal styling directives
- Work with Creative Director and Manager of Product Styling to develop innovative styling solutions
- Work with photo team to ensure lighting and settings are correct for each item
- Work with color image specialists to ensure photo lighting/crop/guidelines are compliant
- Set up process daily to ensure all assets are properly routed to be approved and color corrected
- Prepare all products for photography, including steaming, straightening, stuffing, removing tags.
- Assist Manager of Product Styling with prep for each day's work load and freelance
- Remain current with competing brands and offer feedback for continued improvement and/or efficiencies; Audit website/social images online on a regular basis
- Work collaboratively with the various teams for creative execution in all touchpoints including customer program materials, eCommerce, internal and external marketing materials and social content.
- General knowledge of retail studio settings, Canon camera systems, and Apple computer systems preferred
- Occasionally assist on creative photography photoshoots and other special projects
- Must be able to meet deadlines and respond to the needs of the business as necessary
- Partner with the production team for daily & seasonal sample organization ensuring the sample flow between the tables, sets and closets are maintained and protected
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion related field (design, or merchandising), Fine Art , Graphic, or Costume design.
- 4-5 years related experience, including demonstrated success as a stylist (freelance or other) or visual merchandiser for a retail organization
- Conceptual, forward thinker with an exceptional creative ability
- Keen sense of fashion exhibited through personal taste
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
